The Competitive Junior Air Rifle & Smallbore Program is for youth ages 12 to 18 and runs year round, except August. The program includes instruction on safety, the operation of air and smallbore rifles, and the fundamentals of three-position shooting.  New competitors will complete a 1-day safety course and will receive the NRA Basic Rifle Certification.  Practice is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays, with additional practices when necessary to prepare for competitions.  We also offer the opportunity to participate in clinics, leagues, and matches.  Most matches are local, while a few are out-of-state.  The focus is on Air Rifle in the fall/winter, and Smallbore in the spring/summer.
